If you’re a west Londoner then you’re in luck - there’s a new and independent zero waste store opened at 291 Portobello Road, in the heart of Notting Hill. It’s a fine foods store - so expect artisan vegan cheeses, the best tahini you’ll ever try, organic and premium spices and herbs and so much more.

Owner, Charles, was recently interviewed on fellow eco-warrior Venetia Falconer’s podcast - Talking Tastebuds. So have a listen to that if you’re interested to learn about this Frenchman’s background in Michelin starred restaurants.

Why we love them: The branding is on point, and you can pick up your very own Liberté Chérie tote bad to carry all your zero waste goodies home with you. They also sell useful household items like laundry detergent, firewood (quite random but we love it!), and the most incredible fresh sauces from the bulk fridge section.
