Looking at Weaver Green’s creations, you wouldn’t know the rugs, throws and cushions were made of recycled plastic. When travelling in Asia, Tasha and Barney saw a fishing rope made of unravelled plastic bottles. Inspired, they set about making a robust fabric to use in their products. Fast-forward 7 years and this special stain-resistant, washable and planet-friendly yarn was complete and ready to be used in all of their products.
Why we love them:
This couple are not only clearing some of the 35 million plastic bottles thrown into the sea each year, but have made something useful, creative and beautiful from them.
